NJ: Ballpark cops

In my years watching games from the first row in Cincinnati, I overheard several conversations between a cop there and a few fans in the first row. Being a ballpark cop is certainly one of the more desirable police jobs (About the toughest thing ballpark cops do is deal with streakers of drunken fans on the field.) But being a ballpark cop has its perks, too, especially when you spend your days hanging out in the visitors' dugout. Dinners with players are the norm, and according to this particular cop, he has become pretty good friends with a number of players. And after years of dining with the national league's finest, who does this cop find to be the most pleasant and interesting company? Jose Rijo and Reggie Sanders. Couldn't have picked two nicer players myself.
